Quick Facts Location: Kansas City, MO Start Date: 05/05/2026 End Date: Permanent role Shift: In-house, 24/7 coverage at Level-IIIB NICU Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology Experience: Previous neonatal intensive care experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (based on available data) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA & HSA) 401(k) retirement plan, Employee Stock Purchase Program Paid sick time as per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 support team focused on your success What You’ll Do Provide expert in-house neonatal care at a busy Level-IIIB NICU with 49 beds Manage critically ill neonates, including extremely low gestational age infants as young as 22 weeks Employ advanced therapies such as inhaled nitric oxide, high-frequency ventilation, and therapeutic hypothermia Support an average of 30 patients per day, with over 450 annual NICU admissions Collaborate with a team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners 24/7 Supervise or support Level-IIIA NICUs, well-baby care units, and out-of-house coverage via telehealth Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to neonatal care regional delivery services What You Need Required: Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatology Missouri medical license (or eligible) Key skills: neonatal emergency management, advanced therapies Preferred: Previous NICU experience in high-acuity settings Experience with neonatal advanced therapies About the Assignment Join a highly specialized neonatal care team within a leading facility in Kansas City, MO.
