Steadfast Alliance is looking for hardworking and reliable landscape crew leaders / drivers to join our growing team. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in quality landscaping, we want to hear from you!
Position: Landscape Crew Leader / Driver
Location: Land O Lakes, FL
Pay: Starting at $20.00 - $25.00 per hour , based on experience
Full-time positions available
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Landscape Crew Leader / Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely transporting crew and equipment to job sites, leading a small team, and ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance and installation services.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles and trucks with trailers to transport crew and equipment
- Lead and supervise a landscape crew on daily job assignments
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards
- Communicate job expectations and provide on-site direction to team members
- Perform landscape maintenance and installation tasks (mowing, edging, planting, mulching, etc.)
- Conduct daily vehicle and trailer inspections
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Communicate with management regarding job progress, issues, or needs
Requirements:
✅ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
✅ Proven experience driving trucks and pulling trailers (required)
✅ Prior experience leading or supervising a crew (required)
✅ Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance and/or installation
✅ Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
✅ Strong work ethic, reliability, and leadership skills
✅ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience with commercial landscaping equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices
