Job Title: RN PCU Profession: RN PCU Specialty: RN PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - BLS certification - ACLS certification Description: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and health status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on health management and preventative care. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information. Participate in ongoing education and professional development. Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients and team members. Adapt to varying levels of patient acuity and requirements.
