Provider growth team is seeking a team player to help with early stage deals.

The Provider Growth role is the engine behind ZERO's provider network. This role is responsible for identifying and validating new provider opportunities, making initial outreach calls, and qualifying leads before handing them to a Provider Sales Executive for contracting and negotiation. It is a high volume, high energy role built for someone who is organized, persistent, and comfortable being on the phone every day. This is a strong entry point into healthcare provider network growth, with a clear path toward a full Provider Sales Executive role for those who show strong performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead research & validation: Identify potential healthcare provider targets in new and existing markets. Use tools, reports, healthcare directories, and other sources to build accurate contact lists. Validate that providers meet ZERO's quality and specialty coverage needs before they enter the pipeline.
• Initial outreach: Make first contact with prospective provider partners by phone, email, and other channels. Introduce ZERO, gauge interest, and gather the information a Provider Sales Executive will need to move a conversation forward.
• Qualification & handoff: Ask the right questions to confirm a provider is a real, qualified opportunity. Document findings clearly in the CRM and hand off validated leads to the appropriate Provider Sales Executive with enough context to keep momentum going.
• Pipeline support: Keep CRM records current and organized. Track outreach activity and outcomes, flag patterns or gaps in specialty coverage, and support Provider Sales Executives with follow up outreach as needed.
• Top of funnel strategy: Partner with the analytics team to evaluate and improve the quality of top of funnel provider data. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and sourcing issues that affect lead quality, and help refine how new markets and specialty categories are prioritized. Use performance trends across outreach and validation to shape a smarter, more targeted top of funnel strategy over time.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or a similar outreach focused role, ideally in healthcare
• Comfortable with high volume phone and email outreach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage and track a large volume of leads at once
• Self motivated and able to work independently toward daily and weekly outreach goals
• Interest in healthcare, provider operations, or revenue cycle a plus
• Proficiency in CRM software like HubSpot or Salesforce
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required

Compensation:

Base Salary: $58,000 to $70,000, based on experience

Target variable pay tied to deal conversion, improved efficiency, and overall provider growth across existing and new markets.
