Job Title: Controller

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Controller to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will support the financial and accounting needs for multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reports, compliance with regulations, and efficient accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Perform accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance (federal, state, and local requirements). Work closely with CPA Firm for year end tax preparation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and any applicable laws.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in multi-entity accounting strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, and general accounting practices.
• Proficient with accounting software, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365 with strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
