This is a senior individual contributor role focused on designing complex, end-to-end workflows that support internal users across the loan lifecycle.You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex systems into intuitive, scalable experiences. This role combines strong execution with ownership, requiring the ability to influence decisions, simplify complexity, and deliver measurable outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver end-to-end user experiences across complex operational workflowsSimplify highly integrated systems into intuitive, efficient, and scalable designsDrive measurable outcomes through data-informed design decisions and iterationPartner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations to influence decisions and align on solutionsDesign within a regulated environment, balancing usability with compliance requirementsContribute to and extend design systems to ensure consistency across experiencesEnsure accessibility and inclusive design standards are metRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or related fieldsProven experience designing end-to-end experiences across complex systems or workflowsStrong systems thinking and ability to simplify complex problemsExperience influencing product and engineering decisions in cross-functional environmentsExperience working in Agile or similar delivery modelsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience using AI-powered tools in day-to-day design work and applying sound judgment to identify where AI can add meaningful value to user experiences and team workflows.Preferred SkillsExperience designing internal tools, operational platforms, or workflow-based systemsExperience in financial services or other regulated industriesExperience working within platform-based ecosystemsFamiliarity with AI-powered tools or emerging technologiesLocationThis role is Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to our office located in Baltimore, MD, with expectations of being in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.SalaryTarget base salary range for Baltimore, MD is $150k-$165k, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience.
