Position Overview

We are excited to welcome a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our expanding team of imaging professionals devoted to delivering outstanding care. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic evaluations, work closely with a collaborative team of clinicians, and help provide reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Coordinate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to yield high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient information within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification favored
