Summerfield Schools Sub-Custodian Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated record of successful employment.
- Communication skills and ability to work in a professional manner, including confidentiality.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read basic operating instructions.
- Ability to read and understand warning signs.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
- Ability to cooperate with other staff members.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Ability to support school functions and community activities as deemed necessary.
- Custodial work - clean and sanitize bathrooms, hallways, and classrooms.
- Assume responsibility for the building's general security.
- Promptly report needed repairs to the custodial director.
- Event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Maintain building and grounds.
- Perform other tasks and assume responsibilities as necessary to ensure the building's successful daily operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
