Step into a rewarding role supporting students from preschool through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Elgin, SC. This contract opportunity allows you to make an impact across multiple caseloads throughout the district, engaging with a diverse group of 46 students. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week over five days, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications:

• Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) from ASHA
• Active South Carolina teaching certification

Professional Experience & Skills:

• Experience with pediatric populations from preschool through high school
• Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support families and educators in understanding students’ needs and treatment goals
