Social Media Coordinator Marlborough, MA On-Site Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Pay: $55,000-$60,000 The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for: Content Strategy & Calendar Management Take ownership of social content strategy and the master content calendar across all brands, exercising creative discretion in shaping post themes, formats, and campaign tie-ins. Align the calendar with marketing campaigns, association events, and company announcements, collaborating with marketing leadership and brand stakeholders to keep strategy grounded in broader business priorities. Content Creation & Production Write, shoot, and edit the majority of social content in-house, including short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), photography, graphics, and copy, applying creative judgment to determine the best format and style for each brand and platform. Direct and appear on camera as needed. Plan and execute on-location shoots at properties, events, and offices, and manage a library of raw and finished creative assets. Design static and animated graphics in Canva that align with each brand's visual identity. Platform Management & Publishing Own and maintain day-to-day publishing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Nextdoor, YouTube, and other relevant platforms for each brand. Schedule and queue content using social management tools, monitor for optimal posting windows, and ensure platform profiles, bios, and business information stay current and accurate. Community Engagement & Customer Interaction Actively monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and tags across all brand accounts in a timely, on-brand voice. Build relationships with followers and community members, identify opportunities for user-generated content, and elevate service issues or sensitive inquiries to the appropriate team. Brand Voice & Multi-Brand Coordination Maintain a distinct and consistent voice, tone, and visual identity for each operating brand while ensuring alignment with documented brand standards. Adapt content style, format, and messaging to fit each brand's audience without diluting the parent organization's overall identity, partnering with marketing leadership and brand stakeholders on strategy and routing higher-risk content through for approval before it goes live. Social Analytics & Performance Reporting Track follower growth, engagement rate, reach, video views, and top-performing content across all platforms and brands. Prepare recurring performance reports and use content-level insights to refine future creative direction, format mix, and posting cadence. Paid Social Collaboration Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to supply creative assets, captions, and organic-content insights for paid social campaigns. Flag high-performing organic posts as candidates for paid boosting and support audience and creative testing for paid social initiatives. Employer Branding & Recruiting Content Produce recruiting and culture-focused content that showcases the employee experience across the family of companies, supporting talent acquisition and employer branding goals. Coordinate with HR on hiring campaigns, team spotlights, and company milestone content. Trend Monitoring & Creative Innovation Stay current on platform algorithm changes, emerging formats, and social trends, and proactively recommend new content formats, platforms, or creative approaches. Test and evaluate new content types to keep each brand's presence fresh and competitive. Vendor & Tool Management Maintain ownership of social scheduling and design software, coordinate with freelance photographers, videographers, or influencers as needed, and manage the equipment, subscriptions, and creative tools required to produce content efficiently.
