Key Responsibilities for the Corporate Accountant: Own full-cycle project accounting from project setup through closeout. Manage job costing, customer billing, AIA billings, retainage, and revenue recognition activities. Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, fixed asset accounting, and month-end close support. Process weekly payroll and maintain accurate labor costing and payroll reporting. Partner with operations and project management teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Mentor less experienced accounting staff and help improve departmental processes and workflows. Qualifications for the Corporate Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred. Strong general ledger and GAAP accounting experience.
