Field Service Technician II (multiple openings)

Your role at Baxter Field Service Technicians contribute to our mission of saving and sustaining lives by working independently to complete repairs on lifesaving medical devices. By completing these repairs in a timely fashion, the device can be returned to usage by the hospital that has rented or purchased it. Key Responsibilities Field Service Technicians at Baxter are trained on working with our devices, and will build off of previous mechanical or technical knowledge. Apply troubleshooting skills to medical devices to ensure products are functioning accurately. Demonstrate leadership by assisting with training other team members and addressing customers. Team Environment The field service team works within hospital and service setting environments to repair medical devices. What you'll be doing Perform electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair of assigned products. Diagnose devices and repair malfunctioning components. Use appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs. Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits. Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1680 pounds. Generate service revenue and complete activities required under the service contract. Safely operate a fleet vehicle or company car ranging from a cargo van up to a 26,000‑pound truck. What you'll bring High School Diploma or GED. At least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license. DOT physical card, which must be obtained and maintained. Prior technical or mechanical repair experience. Applicable technical or trade school training (preferred). Estimated Salary Estimated base salary: $46,400 – $63,800. This range reflects an anticipated salary for the position, subject to change based on market data, location, skills and experience.
