Exact Staff is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a steady, full-time opportunity in Valencia, CA. This role offers weekly pay, consistent hours, and the chance to grow with a manufacturing company that holds ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality certifications. This position is ideal for individuals with CNC set-up, multi-axis milling/lathe operation, and precision measurement experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders (large and medium-sized, horizontal and vertical, multi-axis)
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, job orders, specifications, shop aid sketches, and work instructions
• Defining and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations, and console settings
• Performing routine machine maintenance and minor repairs
• Conducting in-process inspections to ensure parts meet customer and internal quality standards
• Completing jobs according to production schedules and deadlines
• Editing and optimizing CNC programs at the machine to improve cycle time, surface finish, and tool life
• Verifying part dimensions using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.) and ensuring compliance with tight tolerances
• Adhering to ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality system requirements
• Performing additional duties as assigned by management to meet operational needs

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of tooling, setup, program validation, and machine recovery
• Strong problem-solving skills applied to a wide range of production challenges
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, reach, stoop, and occasionally climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Vision sufficient for reading printed documents and computer screens
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• Reliable attendance required

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: Starting at $28.00/hr, DOE
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, occasional extended hours and weekend overtime as needed
• Shifts Available: 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Location: Valencia, CA
