Front Desk Student Worker

Position Summary This worker would help manage the email and medical record requests, along with scheduling for the behavior service. In addition this position will process emails, process referrals, make reminder calls, scan and attach paperwork, call clinics for new patient records, and fax prescriptions. Duties and Responsibilities Process Emails – 40% Process Referrals – 20% Call Clinics for New Patient Records – 15% Make Reminder Calls Scan/attach paperwork, fax prescriptions, call client when medications are ready – 10% Qualifications Experience in an animal hospital setting Skills using office equipment such as Microsoft Office, copiers, scanners, email, and phones Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Customer service/phone etiquette Proficient in basic productivity software such as Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook (email) Utilize medical record database Physical Demands Sitting for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 30 pounds of paper boxes for storage Able to tolerate animal noises and smells Additional Information Employment type: Employee.
