Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate Florence, AL Sam's Club #8196, 364 Cox Creek Pkwy, Florence, AL 35630-1540 Position Summary Join our freezer, cooler, and deli team and play an important role in the operations and sanitary conditions of our freezers and coolers. In the deli department, you’ll provide front‑line customer service and enhance shopping experiences. Responsibilities Keep member satisfaction as top priority. Serve as a solution seeker, tackling obstacles and adapting to change. Ensure high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members. Maintain clean shelves, temperature control, and verify expiration dates. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Follow safety standards, including forklift spotting, hazardous‑material handling, and reporting unsafe situations. Follow policies for handling returns, zoning, stocking, and pricing merchandise. Provide member service, assist with purchasing, resolve issues, and promote company products. Operate, repair, and sanitize equipment; obey food handling policies and maintain cold‑chain procedures. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Passion for stocking and customer service. Experience with stocking and customer service (preferred). Compensation Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00* per hour (actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage). *Premiums may range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
