As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

Location: Downtown Dental Associates, Anderson, SC

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
• One Friday per month: 7:45 AM - 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Perform periodontal therapy and educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
• Utilize iTero scanning and Curodont treatments as part of patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth office flow and excellent patient experiences.
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in dental hygiene.

Qualifications

• Required:
  
  • Active Dental Hygiene license in South Carolina.
• Preferred:
  
  • 1 year of clinical experience (open to enthusiastic new graduates).
  • Experience with Dentrix and iTero scanning.
  • Knowledge of Curodont applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills - outgoing, team player, and patient-focused.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional care and maintaining a positive, goal-oriented attitude.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
