Mining Drill/Shovel Mechanics - Coeur Rochester Mine - $5,000 Signing Bonus - Up to $49.25/hr - Lovelock, NV Drill/Shovel Mechanics are needed at Coeur Mining, Inc.’s Coeur Rochester mine near Lovelock, Nevada. This role offers a chance to work at one of the largest silver reserve assets in the United States, with a focus on maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in mine equipment maintenance and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Perks & Benefits Hourly wage: $43.57 – $49.25 (DOE) $5,000 sign-on bonus Quarterly bonus up to $4,100 (up to $16,400 annually) Full benefits on day 1 (medical, vision, dental, employee assistance program, Teladoc service) 6% dollar-for-dollar employer match to 401k or Roth, immediate vesting On the job training Flexible schedule Bus service from Lovelock, Fallon, and Winnemucca Travel pay for those outside of bus service What You’ll Need High school diploma or equivalent required Certification/Degree in Heavy Equipment Mechanical Maintenance preferred, or substantial technical background in surface mobile maintenance equipment Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in mine equipment maintenance required General knowledge and experience maintaining Blast hole Drills, Hydraulic Shovels, and support equipment Ability to perform system diagnostics and repairs on hydraulic, air, lube, and electrical systems Experience with building hydraulic hoses and performing mechanical and lubrication PMs Ability to lift 75 lbs. occasionally, walk on uneven ground, and ascend/descend ladders daily Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Follow all safety procedures and work in outdoor conditions What Will Make You Stand Out Certification/Degree in Heavy Equipment Mechanical Maintenance from a vocational tech school Working knowledge of Komatsu and Hitachi face shovels, Epiroc and Cat drills #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Job Shop
