Job Description: Must Have Skills
- 7+ years of experience in the following tools/areas:
- Databricks
- dbt
- Dagster
- Elementary
- Data Modeling
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in data engineering and data modeling for data warehouses and data lakes
- Experience in Banking and/or Financial Services domain
- Experience in querying and profiling data sources
- Experience using data modeling tools
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3NF, Dimensional) at both project and enterprise level
- Dimensional modeling experience with conformed dimensions across business units
- Experience with data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner, Oracle Designer, or Erwin
- Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams
- Understanding of data architecture principles and best practices
- Ability to write SQL for data querying (ANSI SQL preferred)
- Strong understanding of database technologies, techniques, and trends
- Snowflake experience is a plus
- Experience with data governance and metadata management tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain data structures to non-technical audiences
- Results-oriented with ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
