Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Nurse is needed in Jamestown, North Dakota. The position involves providing comprehensive care for laboring patients, postpartum, and newborns within a Family BirthPlace unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role offers a variable 12-hour day/night rotating schedule, with options for straight night shifts if desired.

Job Details:

• Location: Jamestown, North Dakota
• Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night schedule, including weekends every third and holidays every third. Schedule options for straight night shifts are available (7:00 AM 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM 7:00 AM).
• Required Qualifications: Active Compact or North Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery, nursery, and postpartum care, experience with full patient care, and familiarity with EPIC charting and OBIX fetal monitoring system.
• Additional Information: The candidate will float to other units/departments such as the Emergency Department as needed to assist staff. The unit has 3 Labor and Delivery/Postpartum rooms and 4 patient rooms, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 for labor and 26 patients depending on mix.
• Certifications: BLS required; NRP strongly preferred.
• Vaccination: COVID vaccine required.
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
