We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst with a strong foundation in identifying, analysing, and mitigating cyber threats. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding sensitive data, maintaining system integrity, and supporting the organisation’s wider risk management strategy. Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Analyst Salary: Up to £60,000.00 DoE Location: Cheadle Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 to 5:00/5:30 (37.5 hours) What You'll Be Doing Lead & Mentor Cyber Security Team. Support the building of Cyber Security Procedures & Policies. Support in Security Architecture decisions. Oversee vulnerability scanning processes to validate the effectiveness of patching efforts. Arrange and support security penetration testing initiatives. Monitor external information sources and provide recommendations on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to our environment. Assess, plan, and coordinate patch management activities for internal systems and hardware. Evaluate and recommend server hardening measures for implementation by the Infrastructure Team. Assist with the configuration of email and internet security solutions. Ensure all security configurations comply with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.
