Essential Job Functions: World Famous Friendly customer service with customers and teammates. Work as part of a “team” atmosphere. Oversee all job functions within the department. Assist with training of department new team members on operating and safety procedures Team motivation, direction and coaching. Ordering, & inventory maintenance. Daily logs current, quality control & reducing shrink. Achieving & exceeding gross profit goals. Making sandwiches. Using the meat slicer. Using the oven for baking bakery product. Making salads & maintaining throughout the day. Stocking freezer and walk-in. Stocking bakery tables, cheese case and HMR case. Using cleaning products to maintain sanitary conditions. Product knowledge. Using deli scales and bakery printers. Detailed cleaning of entire bakery deli department per detailed cleaning list. Cleaning rotisserie with authorized oven cleaner. Packaging & labeling product. Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures. Assist in oversight ofdepartment safety standards. Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook. QualificationsKnowledge Skills Needed: World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members. Ability to create a “team” atmosphere. Ability to motivate, coach & direct team members. Ability to hold team members accountable for work performance Ability to read & understand written instructions. Understands basic math calculations.
