Ignite New Beginnings in the Sunshine City – Become Our Next Speech Language Pathologist
What if your next professional endeavor could give a voice and meaning to countless lives? As a Speech Language Pathologist nestled in the vibrant embrace of St. Petersburg, your role will transcend the treatment of communication and swallowing challenges. Here, you will unlock empowerment, rebuild confidence, and cultivate enduring connections — from the joyful exploration of language for children to the inspiring journeys of seniors reclaiming their autonomy.
This position offers an extraordinary chance to impact individuals at every stage of life in a dynamic setting combining outpatient therapies with the possibility of occasional inpatient care. Whether your passion lies in the joys of pediatric speech development, the complexities of adult neurogenic communication, or the nuanced realm of geriatric cognitive rehabilitation, you'll experience joy and flexibility in your professional journey.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized tests and observational methods.
- Craft tailored therapy plans targeting both immediate goals and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions tackling communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
- Engage with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies.
- Provide patient and family education to foster progress outside clinical environments.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation compliant with all relevant guidelines.
- Stay abreast of developments in the field via continuing education and collaborative exchanges with peers.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.
Licensure and Certifications
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Core Skills
- Strong foundation in evidence-based practices for a diverse age range, showcasing a profound understanding of both developmental and acquired disorders.
- Exceptional communication skills that foster rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Ability to modify therapy techniques to cater to varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Robust clinical judgment and adept problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in managing electronic medical records and adherence to documentation standards.
What We Offer
- Attractive compensation aligned with experience.
- Flexible hours that promote work-life harmony and varied caseloads.
- Specialization opportunities in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
- Paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.
- Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Support for continuing education and professional advancement.
- A collaborative, team-oriented environment centered on excellent patient care and lifelong learning.
A Career That Meets You Where You Are — and Moves You Forward
In this role, you will provide far more than just speech therapy; you will join a community committed to restoring voices, enhancing communication, and igniting joy through the simplest of human interactions: listening and understanding.
Working alongside colleagues who view each other as family, you will thrive in an atmosphere that emphasizes collaboration over competition. Every patient has a narrative, and we entrust you with the delicate task of crafting that story.

Who We Seek
We're searching for a Speech Language Pathologist motivated by outcomes and compassion alike. A professional who sees unspoken potential in a shy child and visualizes their expressive future, who discerns the guarded words of a stroke patient and detects their fierce resolve to recover.
You may be a pediatric aficionado eager to branch into adult therapies or a specialist in neuro rehabilitation with aspirations to incorporate pediatric cases into your practice.
Regardless of your specialty, if you are prepared to serve with heart and lead with expertise, we would love to have you join our team.
Let Us Discover the Right Words Together
If you hold the belief that speech extends beyond mere sounds and therapy transcends tasks — if you value the importance of establishing trust before tackling objectives, and find joy in laughter as much as language itself — this role may be the exciting next chapter in your career journey.
Join us in a community that cherishes communication, connection, and the bravery required to start anew. Apply today to bring your talents to our team and assist others in finding their voices.
