CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with hands‑on experience using Fusion 360 CAD/CAM and/or Inventor CAM package. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines while collaborating with engineering and production teams to produce and inspect high‑quality precision parts using precision hand tools, gauges, and Polyworks / FARO arm equipment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines according to job specifications Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models Use Fusion 360, Inventor CAM, or on‑machine tools (Okuma) to create, edit, and optimize CAM toolpaths Load programs, set tool offsets, and perform test runs to ensure accuracy Monitor machine operations and adjust maintain quality and efficiency Perform in‑process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, FARO arm / Polyworks, etc.) Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel Required Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator Proficiency with Fusion 360 (CAD and CAM modules) and/or Inventor Pro / CAM Proficiency with Fanuc G Code or Okuma programming language Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials Experience with manual measuring and inspection tools (e.g.: micrometers, bore gauges) Basic knowledge of G‑code and M‑code Attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3‑axis or 5‑axis CNC machines and lathes. Experience with Okuma machines, (lathe) live tooling, and (mill) turn cut functionality a plus. Knowledge of multi‑axis machining strategies in Fusion 360 or Inventor CAM. Experience with Polyworks Inspector and FARO portable CMM arms. Previous experience in a production or job‑shop environment Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift to 50lbs Manual dexterity and good hand‑eye coordination #J-18808-Ljbffr
