Position Summary

As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing plumbing issues, recommending effective solutions, completing high-quality repairs and installations, and providing an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in representing the company with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Diagnostics & Service

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and inspections of residential plumbing systems.
• Accurately identify the root cause of plumbing issues.
• Recommend repair and replacement solutions that best meet the customer's needs.
• Explain findings and available options in a clear, honest, and professional manner.
• Complete plumbing repairs and installations according to company standards and local plumbing codes.
• Ensure all completed work meets the highest quality and safety standards.

Customer Service

• Deliver a five-star customer experience on every service call.
• Build trust with homeowners through honesty, professionalism, and excellent communication.
• Present estimates and service options with a customer-first approach.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance while representing the company.

Documentation & Teamwork

• Accurately document diagnostics, completed work, and recommendations using FieldPulse.
• Collaborate with dispatch, office staff, and fellow technicians to ensure efficient scheduling and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in company meetings, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities.
• Assist other team members as needed to ensure successful completion of daily operations.

Qualifications Required

• Illinois Licensed Plumber  or Second Period Plumbing Apprentice.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years of plumbing experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

Compensation

• $20.00–$40.00 per hour , based on experience, licensing, and qualifications.
