Job Summary:
The facility located in Woodruff, Wisconsin is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate start. This position involves working in a specialized 10-bed ICU and intermediate care unit, providing critical nursing care and supporting patient recovery. The role is ideal for RNs with a minimum of two years of experience, and some travel experience is preferred.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

  • Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); Associate Degree or Certificate; 2+ years of clinical experience; location in Wisconsin; minimum of 0 years of experience (experience requirement: 0 years)

  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing

  • Unit Description: 10-bed ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) unit with a patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU and 1:3 to 1:4 in IMC, with some units operating at a ratio of 1:5 to 1:6

  • Charting System: EPIC preferred

  • Float Requirements: Float to other units as needed, including prescheduled floating to Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk, with float to other units such as MS as required

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, start date 08/24/2026

  • Additional Information:

    • The role involves rotating holiday shifts every other rotation
    • GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week
    • Guaranteed set hours per week; during holidays, the unit may be closed
    • Contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
    • During flu season, declining flu and COVID vaccinations requires wearing a mask at all times in accordance with the organization's policy, with mandatory compliance
