Data Analyst Senior

Data Analyst Senior Location: Houston, TX What You Can Expect As a Data Analytics Senior, you will help support and improve operational performance by providing data‑driven insights and building tools that track key processes. You will work with teams across Operations such as Customer Care, Collections, and Revenue Management and partner with Sales and Pricing to understand performance trends, track metrics, and support business decisions. You will work on performance reporting tools, maintain and improve dashboards, and support analysis that improves processes and customer outcomes. You will also contribute to company‑wide reporting efforts, translating complex data into clear, actionable takeaways for the business. Responsibilities Build and maintain reports and dashboards that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across Operations Use SQL, Power BI, and Excel to explore data, identify trends, and support decision‑making Assist in the development and enhancement of existing reporting tools and systems Collaborate with teams across Operations and other departments to ensure shared understanding of performance goals and metrics Support ad‑hoc analysis requests and contribute to special projects as needed Help identify opportunities to improve processes or highlight risks using data insights What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business or operations‑focused data role Solid understanding of SQL (T‑SQL or PL‑SQL preferred) and experience working with relational databases Proficiency in Power BI, including creating dashboards, using DAX, and working with Power Query Experience using Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting, with preference for Power Query and Pivot Tables Knowledge of PowerPoint and ability to present findings clearly and professionally Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with others Strong interest in learning and growing within the energy industry and data analytics space Previous experience in retail energy or working with CRM data Additional Details Role is eligible for a hybrid work policy; 3 days in the office Must comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies Compensation Salary Range: $88,800 – $136,045 USD annually (average expected pay range for a qualified candidate). Actual salary offered may vary based on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other factors. In addition to base pay, position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
