We are looking for motivated Prep Cooks who are eager to build skills and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.You're someone who shows up with a great attitude and a willingness to learn. You take pride in staying organized, moving with urgency, and supporting your team wherever needed.What You'll DoWash, peel, and cut various foods to prepare for cooking.Prepare all items consistently to company recipes and standardsMaintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station and the rest of the kitchen.Handles all food items by washing, chopping, and cutting according to recipe specifications.Labels and stores all products following company and safety standards.Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.Promptly inform management when equipment is not working properly.Complete opening and closing checklists and assist others in opening and closing the kitchen.Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and can produce them to company standards.Follow all direction provided by the Kitchen ManagerCommunicate and support co-workers while being a team player.Communicates product needs to line cooks, support staff, and Kitchen Manager.Understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, police, and procedures.Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items.Fill in for fellow team members where needed to ensure quality and service standards are met.Arrives appropriately dressed and ready to work on time.All other duties as assigned.What We'll Need From YouPrep or line cook experience is a plus.Ability to work holidays, even if their regular scheduled days do not fall on the holiday.Physical requirements: You must be able to do heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and remain on your feet for up to 10 hours at a time.Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time at a fast pace.Why Tap Room?We're proud to attract hospitality-driven talent, from those building long-term careers in the industry to those who simply love the work and want to earn extra income doing what they enjoy.Career Growth & Development – We promote from within and provide real opportunities for advancement.Competitive Salary & Bonus Structure – We reward high performance and leadership.Work with Passionate People – Join a team that cares deeply about hospitality and loves what they do.Be Part of Something Bigger – Help build the future of Tap Room and leave your mark on the hospitality industry.
