Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience is required. License: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License is required. Certifications: - ACLS - PALS - TNCC - CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm Must-Have: - EPIC experience is required. - Must work every other weekend. - Must obtain the required license before the contract begins. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Department. Candidates do not need to have the license in hand to apply. The schedule includes flexible shifts, either 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates must be prepared to float to other units as needed. Travelers will be the first to float at the facility's discretion. Assignments will be based on the needs of the nursing care team. Candidates must be comfortable caring for diverse patient populations, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This role includes the management of critical patients and requires proficiency in various emergency nursing skills. Candidates should have experience managing high-risk conditions, trauma, and emergencies. A comprehensive understanding of advanced life support procedures is necessary. Candidates will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care. Maintaining clear communication with interdisciplinary support teams is essential. Compliance with health protocols, including infection control measures, is required. Candidates must be adaptable to the dynamic nature of an emergency department environment. All required certifications must be up to date before beginning the contract.
