ED Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Schedule

This position is for a day shift, working from 06:00 AM to 06:30 PM.

Job Description

The ED Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in an Emergency Department setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, triaging patients based on severity of conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist.
• Successful completion of Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Fit Test.
• Documentation of immunity for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and PPD or IGRA testing.
• Background checks and verification of professional credentials are mandatory.
