Operations Maintenance Coordinator - Pulp Mill

Job Description Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) – Pulp Mill Valliant, OK Salary Range: $93,400 - $124,500 (location & experience dependent) Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To) Safety leadership across the area. Execution of Monthly Work Schedule (MWS). Physical plant improvements. Management of maintenance budget and overtime. Allocation of maintenance resources. Communication of area maintenance plans. Weekend call duty. Backup to APM for daily report responses (AOC, Envoy & ParcView guidelines). After‑hours duty to resolve issues related to safety, environmental compliance, and production during outages or upset conditions. Qualifications Ability to instill safety as a core value within the team. Quick study of mill equipment, systems and processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Inclusive approach to positional responsibilities. Strong statistical analysis skills. Strong work ethic. Computer skills: Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Minitab. Self‑starter, team player, strong coach. Demonstrated leadership in pulp and paper manufacturing. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills. Technical knowledge of the pulp and paper process. Problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage and/or lead projects and teams. Proven leadership in a customer‑focused organization. Technical education: BS or higher in engineering, pulp and paper technology, or equivalent experience. Key Competencies Action oriented.
