Job Summary The TAS (Territory Account Specialist) is a field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within a defined territory or region. The role engages health‑care providers (HCPs) through a differentiated customer experience, deep scientific dialogue, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet business results while prioritizing safe and appropriate use of BMS products. Territory Frederick, MD; Hagerstown, MD; Fairfax, VA; Arlington, VA; Alexandria, VA; Fredericksburg, VA; Martinsburg, WV. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications of BMS products within the territory to meet or exceed sales targets. Create demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use. Maintain and grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas. Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans. Use tools such as CE 3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for improvement. Demonstrate scientific expertise and passion in presenting approved scientific resources consistent with label. Conduct in‑office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) with HCPs. Organize external speaker programs, selecting speakers from approved lists and managing logistics. Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications. Provide real‑time medical support through Medical On Call for unsolicited questions and technical inquiries. Collaborate with field teams to ensure optimal customer experience. Share relevant insights internally to help BMS better serve customers. Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies. Required Qualifications & Experience Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing. Experience in hematology/oncology. Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong account management, selling, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Customer‑centric mindset with focus on creating positive differentiated customer experience. Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, and HCP preferences to inform strategy. Proficiency with CE 3 and Medical On Call technology. Strong business acumen, integrity, and judgment, complying with BMS policies. Qualified driver (21+, valid license, acceptable risk level) as required for company vehicle use.
