How We Work: The Tejas Core Values

These aren't posters on a wall - they're how we hire, how we operate, and how we win:

• Get 'Er Done Attitude - When a machine is down and a customer is waiting, you dig in, find the problem, and fix it right the first time.
• Growth Oriented - You're always adding to your toolbox: new equipment lines, new diagnostic skills, new certifications. We'll invest in your training if you bring the drive.
• Mentoring Others - You share what you know. Whether it's walking a newer tech through a tough diagnosis or showing a driver what to watch for, you make the whole shop stronger.
• Team Tejas - The shop, the counter, dispatch, and the sales team all win together. You communicate clearly and pitch in wherever the branch needs you.

If those sound like you, you'll fit right in.

What It Takes

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in construction equipment
• Sharp attention to detail for diagnosing and solving complex mechanical issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to keep repairs on schedule
• Clear communication skills with coworkers and customers
• A proactive, safety-first mindset

Prior experience maintaining and repairing construction equipment is a plus - but if you're motivated and eager to learn, we're willing to train the right person and grow you into the role.
