Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a  Cloud Engineer on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH . DAF CLOUDworks is a rapidly growing secure cloud program that encompasses 10+ teams supporting information security, infrastructure development, and cloud migration.. Successful candidates should have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience; bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR a master’s degree with 0 years experience.
• U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance
• Must have an IAT Level II certification such as Security+
• Working knowledge with Cloud-based technologies (AWS)
• Efficiently resolves help desk tickets using Jira Service Management (JSM) in a demanding, fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and effective user support
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with PowerShell
• Demonstrates exceptional organizational and time management skills by prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and maintaining meticulous documentation in a dynamic work environment
• Highly effective communicator, collaborator, and organizer, leveraging exceptional interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across all levels; proficient at independent task management and meticulous problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fundamental cloud certifications such as:
  • AWS Platform (Cloud Practitioner or higher certification)
  • Azure Platform (Azure Fundamentals or higher certification)
• Active IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, SecurityX)
• Proven experience administering JIRA and Confluence, including user management, workflow configuration, and plugin implementation
• Possesses a combination of practical JIRA administration experience and formal Atlassian Jira Administrator training

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
