Location: Sacramento, CA (Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Folsom, Sacramento (Natomas, Midtown, Southland Park))

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

Located in the vibrant city of Sacramento, CA, the full-time Physical Therapist role is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services, focusing on creating and implementing individualized treatment plans.

This role requires evaluating patients thoroughly and directing appropriate therapeutic interventions aimed at achieving optimal physical outcomes. Attention to documentation is crucial, as you'll maintain detailed records of patient goals, progress, and medical necessity.

You'll oversee assistants and aides, ensuring high-quality care in compliance with state regulations and company policies. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for navigating a dynamic clinical environment, and proficiency in clinical documentation systems is necessary for success.

Past experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred, enhancing your ability to manage a busy caseload with a focus on orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Collaborative in nature, you'll work closely with colleagues, including PTAs, aides, and healthcare providers, to maintain open communication in pursuit of superior patient care.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and direct skilled treatment for patients requiring physical therapy
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain ongoing documentation of goals, functional progress, and medical necessity
• Complete required documentation (pre-certifications, physician reports, daily notes, etc.) in a timely manner
• Maintain respectful and open communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, and families
• Stay updated on the latest physical therapy practices and regulations

Compliance & Safety

• Understand and adhere to the state Practice Act and supervisory requirements for PTs
• Follow VibrantCare's Clinical Operations Policies & Procedures Manual and complete annual reviews
• Complete all required Medicare compliance training and OSHA safety training annually
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other governmental regulations related to patient care

Professional Development

• Complete required continuing education courses to maintain licensure
• Maintain a current CPR certification as per state requirements
• Participate in facility meetings and professional development programs as directed by the Center Manager

Additional Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage time to meet productivity requirements
• Participate in and present clinical in-services when requested
• Contribute to center operations and workflow improvements
• Support the overall goals of the company by engaging in facility marketing efforts

Qualifications: Education & Licensure

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• State licensure/registration where applicable

Experience & Technical Skills

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
• Proficiency in clinical documentation systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead and supervise assistants and aides in patient care
• Effective communication for reporting, patient education, and coordination

Soft Skills

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrates leadership, adaptability, and a patient-first mindset

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and assist patients using proper biomechanics (up to 50 lbs)
• Frequent walking, bending, standing, and reaching throughout the workday
• Strong visual and auditory acuity for patient evaluations and documentation
• Ability to push wheeled equipment and handle therapeutic devices efficiently

• Up to $20,000 for relocation assistance
