BI Developer

Salary: $72,000 - 112,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting data warehouse and BI solutions.
• We need 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft BI tools, including SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
• We require strong T-SQL expertise, including stored procedure and function development, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• We are seeking experience building data warehouse, ETL, and end-user reporting solutions such as Power BI within an SDLC environment.
• We prefer experience with agile delivery methods.
• We value experience supporting manufacturing or factory-floor systems and processes.
• We prefer familiarity with Camstar or similar Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• We value exposure to MES, CMMS, SPC, or OSI PI platforms and their data structures.
• We prefer experience with Oracle in addition to SQL Server.
• We value experience using TFS, GitLab, or comparable source control tools.
• We prefer understanding of OLAP cubes and complex reporting models.
• We value a clear understanding of OLTP versus OLAP systems.
• This role requires a ship status for a Department of Defense-related position (ITAR), and no immigration sponsorship is available.

• We lead end-to-end delivery of data warehouse and BI solutions, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and support.
• We develop and maintain T-SQL stored procedures, functions, and queries for reporting and data integration.
• We design, build, and support ETL processes that move manufacturing and enterprise data into the warehouse.
• We investigate, analyze, and resolve data issues in stored procedures and SSRS or Power BI reports.
• We partner with the DBA team to improve server health, query performance, and indexing.
• We develop and support data migration scripts for project and operational needs.
• We help evolve our data warehouse architecture and best practices.
• We maintain data warehouse and analytics code in version control in line with SDLC standards.
• We support operationally critical work and may need to provide flexible coverage for global support hours.
