- Experience: 1 year of certified MA exp
- Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program. National certs not accepted
- Certs: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
- Education: HS/GED
Job Details:
- Weekend Req: No
- Floating Req: No
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated. No RTO within the first 2 weeks.
Job Duties/Additional Unit Info/Caseload:
Oncology patient population. Patient symptoms include fatigue, peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage), musculoskeletal pain, post-mastectomy pain, muscle strength, swelling (lymphedema), memory and thinking challenges ("chemo brain"), speech and swallowing difficulties. Screening and referrals to wellness, resilience, and survivorship classes (e.g., Cancer Exercise Recovery Program). Botox, injections, Qutenza patches.
