This is not a traditional senior living kitchen.

Cedar Crest Village operates multiple full-service restaurants serving high-volume, made-to-order meals. We're looking for restaurant-trained Line Cooks who are comfortable working multiple stations in a fast-paced cook-to-order environment.

Our restaurants serve 300+ guests each night in a high volume fast-paced setting. Experience in a la minute restaurants highly preferred!

Compensation: $21-$26/hour plus a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

What you'll do:

• Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards

• Execute cook-to-order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation

• Work side-by-side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service

• Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back

What you need:

• At least 1 year of cook-to-order experience

• Sauté experience highly preferred

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers
