Position Title: Office Associate
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4 Months (Temporary Assignment)
Pay Rate: $23.04 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary

The Office Associate provides administrative support to the Parks & Recreation Department, with a focus on grant-related activities and document management. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of administrative duties, including data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance
• Assist with grant-related processes such as compiling, tracking, and organizing documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in digital and physical filing systems
• Input and manage data using various computer applications and databases
• Provide customer service support by responding to inquiries via phone, email, or in person
• Coordinate and communicate with internal staff to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Support general office operations as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor
• Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data management systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous administrative or office support experience
• Experience with grant documentation or tracking systems (a plus)
