Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to provide safe, accurate patient care
• Experience documenting care clearly and completely in the patient record
• Knowledge of patient safety practices, emergency equipment, and universal protocol standards
• Ability to support surgical patients from pediatric through geriatric populations

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing assessments
• Deliver competent direct patient care to support the surgical team and patient flow
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the nursing process
• Follow safety guidelines, including patient identification and safe transfer techniques
• Individualize care based on procedure type, anesthesia, and patient needs
• Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and recovery instructions
• Support timely completion of pre-admission testing and related clinical coordination
