This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Richfield office.****National Interstate’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‐office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.****Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities*** Provides customer support across multiple lines of insurance by handling inbound and outbound phone calls and responding to emails to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.* Fosters and builds relationships with internal departments and external customers to ensure a positive customer experience.* Handles inquiries from internal and external customers related to billing and payments.* Communicates effectively through clear written and verbal communication.* Applies working knowledge of multiple billing and policy systems and related procedures to accurately administer billing, record payments, and reconcile billing statements.* Conducts follow‐up on delinquent accounts, including communication with collection agencies, insurance agents, and insureds.* Gathers and organizes data to support the creation of standard and ad hoc reports.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Job Requirements****Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.**Experience:** Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting support functions. Billing and collections experience preferred.**Scope of Job/Qualifications:** Possesses advanced organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations and company policies/guidelines related to insurance accounting. Strong attention to detail organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills.
