REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Traveler Experience required: Yes Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Hospital clinical laboratory, macroscopic description of gross anatomic features, performs gross examination and dissection of large/complex specimens, performs gross examination and dissection of small biopsies, prepares tissues and histological processing, sectioning surgical pathology and specimens, specimen fixation, specimen receipt and labeling, evisceration, prepare tissue samples, tissue sampling of microscopic examination, obtain/review patient clinical information (ex: scans, x-rays, lab results), tumor triage, adult and fetal autopsies Certs: ASCP - PA PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Skills: specimen accessioning, cut and stain frozen sections, postmortem examinations, removal of brain and spinal cord, gross/microscopic photography Master's degree preferred

JOB DETAILS: Shift: 5x8 DAYS 0800-16:30 Monday-Friday. 40 hours can be offered. Will accept 16 week contracts. Call Requirement: None. Float Requirement: None. Weekend Requirement: None. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): EPIC UNIT ORIENTATION: 8 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
