What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to ER patients, utilizing the nursing process effectively
- Assess patient needs and implement appropriate care plans
- Communicate and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about treatments and procedures
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and manage acute care needs
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid Louisiana RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years ER experience
- Preferred:
- Additional clinical specialty certifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments
