Suites Prep Cook - Spectrum Center

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations while following established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food preparation, safe handling, and courteous customer service are provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Production and Food Preparation
• Obtains the daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items from production sheets by following established quantities, standardized recipes, and preparation instructions.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets, waste log sheets, and other required production documentation.
• Tastes completed food items to ensure quality standards are met.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Customer Service and Station Support
• Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Completes orders from steam tables and grills and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers in an efficient, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Assists with resolving customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Storage, Labeling, and Documentation
• Stores, labels, dates, and rotates all food items according to company policy.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food quality and safety.
• Completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Sanitation, Safety, and Equipment
• Operates and cleans equipment according to department procedures after each use.
• Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the shift.
• Teamwork, Attendance, and Company Standards
• Maintains positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, supervisors, and managers.
• Abided by all Company policies, procedures, and required safety standards.
• Adheres to all Company appearance standards and reports to work at the scheduled start time.
• Follows scheduled break times and returns from breaks on time in accordance with company expectations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
