Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Response Team in Herndon, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will bring a reliable, agile approach to every shift.

- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel environment.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas, observe guest and visitor activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support hospitality operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd flow during busy periods or special events, and addressing routine questions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
