Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication, while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe visitor activity, assist with access-related concerns, and support a professional atmosphere for customers and staff.
• Assist with loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, checking for security-related concerns, and following post orders for retail and mall environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
