Program Administrator Coordinator

The Program Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Center for Transformative Research in Metabolism (TRiM), with the primary objective of reducing administrative burden on the Principal Investigator, Scientific Program Manager, Research Project Leaders, and other scientific personnel. The Coordinator maintains the organizational infrastructure required for a complex, multi-investigator NIH-funded Center and ensures that meetings, documentation, reporting, deadlines, communications, and follow-up activities occur efficiently and reliably.

To thrive in this role, the following skills will be a plus: 

• Proficiency with office, spreadsheet, scheduling, document-management, and collaborative software.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, researchers, trainees, administrators, and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha', Fairbanks campus in Fairbanks. This is a part-time position, 40.80 hours per pay period temporary staff position. New hires will be placed on the  UA Temporary Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 78, based on education and experience.
