Our strong collaboration and commitment to best practices lead to positive patient outcomes and a high-quality healing environment.How you'll contribute: A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who excels in this role:Provides direct patient carePerforms specific documentation in the patient's recordMaintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assuranceCommunicates appropriate information intradepartmental and interdepartmentalAssists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.Perform other related duties as assigned.Minimum Work Experience Previous relevant experience or completion of base skills as a registered nursing student Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
