Branch Manager - Landscaping

Job Description A leading provider of professional landscaping services, known for a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is looking for a Branch Manager. The company is expanding its operations, and is looking for a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead a new location in Greenville, SC. The Branch Manager will be responsible for launching and managing a new branch in Greenville, SC. This is a unique opportunity to build a team, establish operations, and drive growth in a new market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping, sales, operations, and management, with a proven ability to lead teams and exceed performance targets. Responsibilities Branch Launch & Development Lead the setup and operational launch of the new Greenville branch. Recruit, hire, and train staff to build a strong, customer‑focused team. Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Sales & Business Development Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to attract and retain clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Greenville market. Build and maintain strong relationships with residential and commercial clients. Operations Management Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and quality. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure client satisfaction and profitability. Implement and monitor safety protocols and compliance with company policy. Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership, coaching, and development to branch staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed. Financial Management Prepare and manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve profitability goals. Manage inventory, equipment, and other assets effectively. Qualifications Experience Sufficient experience in landscaping, with a strong background in sales and operations. Proven management experience, preferably in a similar industry or environment. Experience in launching and growing new business locations is highly desirable. Skills Strong leadership and team‑building skills. Excellent sales and customer service abilities. Solid understanding of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and reporting. Industry specific software proficiency (e.g. Aspire) preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in business management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred but not required. Other Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet business needs.
