Job Title Trade Compliance Specialist Location Hybrid schedule: Deerfield HQ Tuesday‑Thursday, remote Monday & Friday. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and reviewing import documentation for compliance with CBP regulations. Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing. Support product classification using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). Maintain customs data in ERP systems, including HTS codes and country of origin. Track and monitor import shipments for timely customs clearance. Participate in post‑entry audits and internal compliance reviews. Maintain proper recordkeeping in accordance with CBP requirements. Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and product information. Stay current on trade regulations and participate in training sessions. Qualifications Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in customs compliance, logistics, or international trade. Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations and HTSUS. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to learn and grow within the trade compliance field. Proficient experience working with customs brokers or freight forwarders. High understanding of free trade agreements, country of origin rules, or duty drawback programs. Obtained or in process of obtaining a Customs Broker License (CLB) is preferred. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $56,000 USD – $85,000 USD, with additional annual bonus or role‑based sales incentive.
