What You Will Do Provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartumMonitor fetal heart tones, administer medications, and coach patients through laborAnticipate and respond to complications using critical thinking and clinical protocolsAssist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and other OB/GYN proceduresDocument care and patient progress using EPICCollaborate with 24-hour Patient Safety Nurses, NICU teams, and physicians during high-risk deliveries and obstetric emergencies Minimum Qualifications 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experienceGraduate of an accredited nursing program; ASN required, BSN or MSN preferredCurrent Maryland RN license or compact state equivalentBLS certification (American Heart Association); additional life support certifications as required by unit Position Highlights Practice with a high level of autonomy while supported by a collaborative care teamGain experience in high-risk deliveries and surgical OB careWork in a dynamic unit with advanced resources, including a Level III NICUBe part of a mission-driven, patient-centered organization that invests in your growth Benefits Retention Bonus eligible (must have 1 year of prior experience in this unit) Comprehensive benefit packages available, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, paid time off, 403B, education assistance and voluntary benefits (pet insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and others) available from first day of employment. Pay rate: $38.92 - $55.68 Bonus available for nurses with 2 years as an RN. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
